Home built 10" f6 dob. Aluminum tube, Nova Optics primary, Protostar secondary and 4 vane spider 2" JMI crayford, All Teleview eye pieces, 12mm type2 Nagler, 21,32,55mm plossul, 6,10mm Radian. Teleview 2" Big barlow. 2.8mm Klee barlow. Two sets of Sky Atlas 2000 star charts with cordura carrying case. Telrad with heater. 8x50 90 degree erect image view finder with heated primary. Custom plywood storage/transport case. Other accessory stuff also. Pictures available on request. Located in north Alabama, will travel up to 250miles to deliver.

I probably won't end up buying it anyway (don't have the spare money right now). The question is mostly for the majority of our members who don't live within 250 miles of northern Alabama that may want it.
If you were careful, you could probably ship the car battery, as long as it's relatively new. Just make sure it won't fall over and its terminals never connect. An old battery wouldn't be safe for shipment. |

I think it would need to go truck line. I would be leary of fedex or ups throwing it around. I suppose I could remove the optics from the OTA. The only extra cost would be the shipping and whatever lumber would be needed. If the buyer were close to a tourist type city I might be able to talk the wife into an overnighter. I will check with some truck lines and get ruff estimates to several large cities around the country.
