Moon Occults Neptune - June 23
The 81% illuminated waning gibbous Moon will occult Neptune (magnitude +7.9) for North Americans during the predawn hours of 2008 JUN 23.
I’ve created a graze map. Observers north of the graze path will see a full occultation. To see the map go to: http://www.curtrenz.com/astronomical.html Photos or descriptions of the events would be welcome additions to this thread.
