Default 2009 Planet Calendar

Attached calendar shows planets, sun and moon for 2009. Of note:
  • Venus stays fairly high in the evening sky until the end of January
  • Mars will only be visible just before dawn for the whole year
  • Jupiter and Neptune have a long conjunction from May to July
  • Jupiter, Mars, Moon and Mercury form a stellium on 23 February
  • Mars and Venus travel together from April to June,
  • Saturn, Mercury and the Moon are conjunct on 22 August

This depiction shows fairly clearly the retrograde patterns, with the inflection points for the outer planets always occurring at their conjunction with the full moon, for Saturn on 13 March, for Pluto in June, for Jupiter and Neptune in August, and for Uranus in September. I apologise that the resolution is weak (due to BAUT attachment size limit). I can provide a more readable version on request.
