I have released a beta version of Solar System Imaging Simulator, a new program made for planetary observers and imagers. It's purpose is to simulate the appearance of the planets at any time, and to simulate the image scale and resolution limit of imaging equipment.
Here is the page with a download link and tutorial.

Here are some of the features
- An experimental Mars Polar Cap model based off a curve fit from my images from 2005-2007 and some HST images.
- High accuracy ephemerides for the planets
- Mouse-over feature ID for Mars, Jupiter, and Ganymede
- The ability to show how the planets will look using custom telescope/camera equipment.
Here are some screenshots
It has been tested by members of my Astronomy club, and I have verified that it runs under Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7, but if anyone finds problems, please let me know.
