Hi Fraser & Pamela,
I was wondering about an idea for a series of podcasts about famous past and present astonomers / cosmologists and their contirbution. Certainly one I would suggest would be Carl Sagan. |

If Dr Gay and Mr Cain decide on a podcast about famous astronomers (and astrophysicists), I'd like to suggest Subrayiman Chandrasekhar.
As a very unimportant aside, I got to meet him at a physics colloquium when I was attending Illinois Inst of Technology and he was at U. Chicago. Although I've probably misspelled his first name. Bac |

Now that many topics have already been discussed in detail, the best way forward for this podcast in my view would be a discussion of the hot new space news of the week.
There are many articles on universe today, that I find interesting at start but as I read on they become too complicated to follow. A simple but detailed description with recap of the basics involved would be really welcome. |
