Default Layered Rock at Endurance area

Nice image of layered rock.

Any geologists want to comment on this. What is the crossbedding consistant with?

Cross bedding is consistent with water, wind and base surge from either an impact or a volcanic eruption. Given the relative steepness of the cross beds and their 5-10 cm scale I would go for water as the most likely.
