What ever happened to news of the discovery of methane in the Martian atmosphere? It seemed like quite a big story at the time, but it's died down now and we haven't heard anything more since.

Hmmm.. That is the way it goes, you know, news of this kind are inherently short lived if nothing new is found relating to it, its only so much to say on the subject, and news publications are more interested in holding the publics attention after all…... But of course, that doesn't necessarily mean that no one is working on something relating to it, and that their findings will inspire a new round of articles..
