Hi,
I just joined this forum. I couldn't find the rules governing this forum. Anything I should know before starting to post?
Are external links allowed to one's website or else?
Thanks in advance.

Click on FAQ.
It's in the header of every page.

BTW, welcome to BABB. I hope you'll like it here.

Hi a1call, welcome on board. As Halcyon Dayz said, there is a link to the FAQ at the top of every page. The Bad Astronomer runs a very nice board, but he also likes to keep it nice and polite and likes people to follow the rules.

Links to external websites are allowed, particularly if you are using them as a reference to a point you are discussing. However, they should not be advertising (for example, if you are selling something on your own website). As be careful about quoting copy righted material.

Again, welcome.

Hi Swift,
Thank you very much. I went through some of the posts in the sticky and then I was directed to the FAQ by Halcyon Dayz. I am looking forward to being part of your community. I like to think that I am polite by nature. But I guess it would be fair warning that my opinions sometimes are just at the edge of mainstream. I guess it takes a whole rainbow to make an interesting board.
Thanks again for the welcome.

Hi The Supreme Canuck,
Thank you. I am couple of hours away in west island Montreal. How do you like those gas prices these days.
As for my views, I don't see artifacts in rocks but I keep an open mind about moisture in the soil and I think current microbial life is probable but not confirmed. The only candidate for a fosil I have is the segmented formation from sol 34. That basically describes my on the edge views.

Gas prices? Couldn't tell you. Don't buy gas.

Also, believe me when I tell you that your views aren't the most extreme that have been posted here. In fact, I'm pretty sure that you'll find a number of people here who think that microbial life on Mars is quite possible.
