Does this crater, presumably, have a high albedo?

18: You're presuming that it is a crater? Well, I'm not aware that it has a high albedo ... in fact I would make an educated guess that its albedo is quite low...

14: Yes, it is an impact feature.

Well, it is ... but there is more than one way to make an impact.

I was afraid of that... Dang, had I only been more specific.

It looks quite gloomy for us; on the other hand, even a question like "Which Lunar feature am I thinking of?" might have been worth 20 questions... got a little extension for us, Eroica ?

Anyway

19. Is it a central mountain, crater/basin rim, basin ring, or part of any of these?

(These are the other impact features I can think of; the "other way" to make an impact  )

OK. Since Dave realized it was a lunar feature after 12 questions, I'll extend the game to 32 Questions!

19: No, it's none of those.

Hint #1: it's an impact feature in the sense that it's a vestige of an event in the past that made an impact in more than one way...

Hint #2: some people are going to be slightly miffed at me when they hear the answer!

Is it an impact caused by an Apollo event, such as a shoe print? [We haven't asked 20 questions yet, and then we get to guess the answer.]

Well done, George! (So much for the extension.)

Reading between the lines, I think I can interpret your 20th Question as:

Is it Neil Armstrong's famous first footprint on the Moon?

And that is exactly what I was thinking about. I hope the board accepts this as a genuinely astronomical object.

That was brilliant, George. As soon as I saw your response, I knew it had to be correct.

We all seem to just squeak by at the last question.

Let's try another 20...

What in the universe am I thinking about?

Dang it again! Let me regress and correct my error. [My mind was on another object (non spherical) I have been wanting to use, sorry.] Your question would not likely be asked, though no. 5 is a logical question.

Is it a compact object (denser than the core of an actively fusing star)?
