Oww, no need to shout. Good job, Dave, you're next.

My list started with Deneb, of course, and Denebola, but included Megrez and Polaris. This site also lists Deneb (Epsilon Delphini), Schemali (Iota Ceti), Al Dhanab (Gamma Gruis), Shaula (Lamda Scorpii), and Alya (Theta Serpentis).

I thought I'd lay low for a while so I could accuse somebody of shouting.

In what class of telescope does the focus lie between the two mirrors?

Hmmmmm....

I'll venture the Schwarzschild Telescope - it was very difficult to find non-proprietary information about this telescope type on the net; the German Wikipedia edition does not have an article, but at least a drawing of the Strahlengang (what would that be in English? ) - and the focus is clearly between the mirrors.

The answer I'm looking for is a general type of design.

Here's a hint - think sporting event.

I'm puzzled ... a Kraus telescope has the focus between the two mirrors (a flat reflector and a paraboidal reflector) ... isn't that an answer to the question? Of course there are several other styles of radio telescopes that also have the focus between two mirrors but you should at least acknowledge ansers to your questions.

Which would also go for the Schwarzschild...

Is there a butterfly radio telescope?
