Default Montreal Planetarium

I have just returned from a Business trip (New York, Boston and Montreal).

To kill the time Saturday afternoon before my flight back to England, I visited the Montreal Planetarium, and saw the show 'It's all Relative, Mr Einstein!' (45 minutes). Very good indeed - and afterwards the astronomer/presenter brought out a telescope (with a FILTER!) so we could all look at the sun 'real time' in the small planetarium gardens.

Well worth a visit if you are about that way.

I'm originally from Montreal. Love that city! The science museums in England, however, are no slouch. I spent a week in the Natural History museum in London and wish I could have just moved in and camped out.

The history of science in the UK is incredible. In the city I now live in, Calgary, Alberta anything is considered 'old' if it's pre-1960s. I once found a stubby Coke bottle from the 1950's...a historical artifact.

I know it is hilarious isn't it? I live in Saskatchewan, and like Alberta we are celebrating our Centennial this year. They are making such a big deal about it to:P. But come on, it's only 100 years.
