There seems to be some sort of blog on SOHO images, to the right of the Sun.
It has been there since yesterday(ie more than one photo).

Man! Everyone seems to have a blog! Even the sun has one now! I've got to get with the times or something... :wink:

Are you talking about the black spot in the corona? Looks like an artifact to me. Could there be something on the lense?

Are you aware that you linked to an image that is automatically updated? The image has changed since you posted it and it will continue to change at regular intervals.

Wow! That is so cool! Always have the latest SOHO image...

uh huh. unless your point is to discuss something on a particular image. The image that is the topic of this thread has now scrolled.

I was on seven consecutive images actually, but is gone now at the time of this posting.

that just means the sun's blog entry is to old, if you select the archive option on the left side (top, near the info about internal workings link) you can stil lsee it
