really? I pay little attention My autostart VHS recorder made the clickey
noise indicating it was begining to record something (OVER something else)

so I clicked the remote to see what I was missing
the TV/VHS_r was tuned to CH10 OPB/PBS ?"NOVA"?

it was about the Mars rovers
drilling a hole (in a mars rock) and measuring the ?"SulFate"?

looked like lots of High paid people
sitting around at odd Hours
????
waiting to be updated

HUb', I think it was Nova's Welcome to Mars show. I only caught part of it, anyone see the whole thing?

I watched it (again) but it's old news. The first hour was made about two years ago with a quick update for the landings and shown at that time. The second half is about the science exploration but it's still no newer than a year ago. At the end Spirit was just going to head for the hills and Oppy was still in its landing crater. I kept hoping they'd have further updates but no luck.

Actually, they mentioned that Oppie had traveled to Endurance? Crater and they mentioned that it was ready to start making major discoveries.

I must have missed that. It was getting past my bedtime! I do remember them showing that Spirit had gone to Bonneville but did not find it interesting enough to risk going in. All old news, anyhow. It's time for a new installment!
