While it's indeed possible to urge teens to be future thinkers, there's a fundamental flaw which limits their capability to do so, as stated by the Refortutus Axiom: "The ability, in minutes, of any teen to be able to think into the future is equal to their current age in years minus nine." And the Xaphodus corrolary, postulated approximately 328 years later, states: "The limits of the Refortutus Axiom begin to disappear as early as the final one-third stage of puberty, but definately not until the teen has been entirely responsible for himself for a period of not less than 1.73 years, regardless of age."
