In todays Sun newspaper (uk) front page!

OK, this is a rag paper, with dubious articles. But what is this with the 'RESPECTED astronomers last night hailed the dramatic discovery of Victor Meldrew in space.'.

Huh.

*Also don't browse the Sun site - maybe material on there younger/weaker type people will not like.

Actually, if you read the accompanying piece, it's a surprisingly worthy (for the Sun!) attempt to popularise astronomy. Even Patrick Moore seems to be enjoying the joke. And it does make the point that constellation patterns (maybe with the exception of Triangulum) are pretty arbitrary.

I strongly suspect that some of the stars they've bigged up are below naked-eye magnitude, though...
