Default Items for a "Neat Astronomy" talk

In three weeks I am scheduled to give a 30-45 minute talk to the local Kiwanis club. I am looking for suggestions of items to include. Note that this is a non-scientific audience. When I asked about subject I was told "... it will not make a hill of beans. They all show up for the free food, anyhoo."

Thanks

This is just a wild, spitball of an idea. How about bad astronomy?

I'm sure Phil would not mind you picking one of the funnier/better topics from his main pages and presenting it. That or maybe a punchlist of bad astronomy in a movie.

I had not thought of that ... I'll contemplate it ... the guy who asked me to talk asks regularly about "Planet X" (Nancy's version).

I give quite a few talks and find that, at least someone asks a BA topic question every time. With that in mind, I've give a few BA talks. It always amaises me how many people have quiet concerns about PX and are bravely hiding them from others.
