Default Dangerous NEO in 2012?

Does anyone here know of a possibly threatening NEO (i.e., close call) due in 2012 (yes, the latest woowoo doomyear!). I am aware that Toutatis would be coming close again that year, but the author of this website:
http://brookenney.com/2012Group.htm makes the following, purely anecdotal, claim:
"... While ...I [was] at Crater National Park a few years ago, the guide told us that his son, who works for the NSA, told him that NASA is tracking an asteroid, scheduled to make close contact with earth in--2012."
He told me he had no idea what the object was, since he never thought to ask that person, but the “NSA” reference almost sounds like one of those NASA conspiracy theories. Anyway, what object might he be referring to, and what, if anything (if that quote is to be believed), would the NSA have to do with NASA? Thanks for your replies.

This seems to be the same question you had on August 13th in this thread.

Thought it got answered.

The earlier question did get answered, but was referring to more of a Planet X type thing (which is why I posted it in that forum, although it was so nebulous it could have been an asteroid). The earlier question was from an entirely different source. This question now, I got the impression from the context that the author is referring to an actual asteroid or comet. So yes, Archer 17 did state there was no "mystery object" having been discovered. But, for clarification, my question now has to do with whether or not there are any disconcerting Near Earth asteroid or comet approaches (outside of Toutatis which is the only one I know of.) Just wondering if anyone heard of anything in that regard.

part of the JPL has a list of NEOs and various statistics on them including impact risks, the easiest assesment to understand is the Torino Scale , and there is nothing there over a 1, so I'd say an impact is pretty unlikely.

Edit to fix URL

It's typical conspiracy-buff thinking.

NASA discovers a large object due to hit the Earth. NASA realizes that this knowledge, if made public, would start a worldwide panic. So, NASA releases the information only to the National Security Agency (NSA), who engage in a lockdown campaign to ensure that the knowledge remains secret. Just like in Deep Impact.

And, of course, no other nations on Earth could possibly be tracking this object.

That's a good point. The guy's story is probably just that- a story. I figured the NSA thing had a conspiracy ring to it, but just wanted to run it by someone.
