Makes you feel old when you realise how old the 'actors' of the original series are now.
Thank You 'Scottie' for giving me a love of science and space travel and a lifetime love of Star Trek.

This made me real teary today. James Doohan gave great depth and spirit to his character "Scotty". He also made engineering look interesting and fun!
At a site with his biography, James Doohan Bio I ran across this wonderful account of the convention held in his honor for the presentation of his Star on Hollywood Blvd. Sounds like everyone was there. Burt Rutan showed up, and the keynote speaker was none other than Neil Armstrong! Doohan's Star Party Really, really touching. We'll miss ya Scotty...Warp Speed!
