I probably have read all of Phil Plait's articles for *Astronomy* (but before I was aware of the significance of his name). I like *Astronomy* because it not only includes articles which are primarily of interest to amateur astronomers, but it additionally publishes articles directed to a broad range of interests in astronomy, astrophysics, and cosmology as well.

Thanks ljbrs for not giving anything away. I just got my copy yesterday and haven't gotten that far yet. I usually read each issue of Astronomy and Sky & Telescope twice. Tell me about it! I already have a very expensive "toy" taking up more than its share of floor space (a very nice PA system with a mixer, speakers, a rack of amps and a rack full of effects and other signal processers). At least this toy has paid for itself and besides I have an absolutely killer stereo!
