May just be my comp, but I'm getting a "file not found" message from your URL. But I have heard about the comet being LARGE. Too bad it isn't passing really close like Hale-Bopp several years ago.

I just found out about this comet today. Anyone have a link to a good site that has information about it? Also, it is supposed to kill us all?

Check out the solar prominence! (Or is it a flare?)

NO! NO! NO! There are two UFOs. They are behind the grey areas at 10 o'clock and 5 o'clock. NASA greyed out those areas so you can't see them. But we know they're there!

Well, that proves that it's not a dirty snowball but actually a charged plasma ball created by the interaction between Sol, the gas giants, and Niburu...the closer X gets, the larger (brighter) these comets will get...in fact, I expect to see ORCA sometime soon shepherding more comets towards Sol...at least, that's what they'll say on TMG sites...

No, I dont actually believe any of that drivel I just typed.

So, have any of the PXers used that photo yet as "proof" that PX is coming to make our lives a lot more interesting?

Let's make a pool, I vote for February 20, 2003 as the date that some "enlightened" PX believer will mistake this for PX.

Soho realtime C3 lasco is BACK UP and Running.

http://sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov/data/...altime-c3.html

This COMET, or whatever is BIGGER than the SUN.,if you include the tail.

more information on:

http://www.spaceweather.com

---------------------------
I strongly believe this news, should not be reported to the general public, yet.

Doesn't the tail actually make up most of what we see of the comet, and the comet head itself is relatively small in comparison? Or am I completely wrong?

Also, I was just checking out http://www.godlikeproductions.com/bb...21381127abff8d

I know I probably shouldn't let them get to me, but...I've been getting freaked out by what they are saying about it, that it could possibly impact the Earth and all. It's not the Planet X stuff that they talk about that scares me, it's the fact that I don't know much at all about this comet and the possibility of it affecting us seems to be there...

Yeah, most of what you see is the tail. A decent size comet nucleus is on the order ot tens of miles across. A comet tail can extend a few million miles. So yes, a comet tail can be longer than the diameter of the Sun.

the planet Jupiter.

Come-on Astronomers what is the size of V1,
anybody knows ?, please.

I can see ,, it's coming in from behind the Sun, the tail is still pointing downward.

It looks like it's going in closer than 9 million miles ?,next 24 hours will tell?
any comments, or ideas >?

Is anyone else as worried about this as I am? I feel like when I first found out about Planet X and didn't know anything about it.
