Smile New To All This!

Hey, I was browsing through this site and became very interested so i joined today.

To be honest im just 14 years old. Im in LOVE with all this science stuff! Don't think of me as a little kid over here with all of you adults because im not one of those, "The sun is a star!!!????" i know much more for my age. i love quantum mechanics, spacetime, string theory is debatable, and well black holes - are confusing.

Welcome to the board! And don't worry about your age. I'm only 18. There are a few others around who are your age. No one discriminates against the young here.

Welcome on board Knowledge_Seeker,

The BAUT is not all adults, there are all types of people, age and interests here. I am certain you will feel very welcome here.

That's right. The youngest BAUT members are those of us who are going into our second childhoods!

Knowledge Seeker

And I'm one of those "second childhood" members.
Please keep to the intentions of your handle, as I fear that some here have lost that "seeking" feeling.

Yeah, but you have to take an oath to hate NASCAR--and write letters of complaint to hobby shops for not having better models of rockets--otherwise you're on double-secret probation.

Just kidding.

Hi Knowledge Seeker, welcome to BAUT Forum! Age really doesn't matter, I just started getting into the Astronomy topics while searching for some info on black holes, and I wandered into BAUT, I thought it was great that a forum existed where people were civilized and generally were a bit older and could put me in my place when I need it (because of course I know it all right?)

I am 17 and I know of 2 others who are younger then me other then you here, and I am sure there are a few more who just don't admit it, so no worries. You probably know more about this stuff then I do to be honest. But thats why I am here, to learn. Everyone specializes in something, which makes it a great place to hang out. ENJOY YOUR STAY!
