Default 5D black hole

Hum,
New scientist is running a story about our universe could be a 5D black hole
In a normal 4D blackhole if you fall inside you get ripped apart by the gravitational forces before entering the event horizon.
However, if the black hole has five dimensions there is no `singularity`, and no or little tidal forces . And, according to the mathematical analysis of a researcher, our universe may well be a 5D black hole...

Hum,
No stranger than living in a 5D brane...

But its great way to get rid peoples misconceptions about the bigbang `explosion`...They will have to double think about a bigbang implosion...
