We watched a film today in Astronomy on The Space Station, Freedom. It mentioned some of the different models, Astrobot, and the PSA. I had seen it before but forgotten about it. Here is a link to a page about it: http://nasaexplores.com/lessons/01-046/9-12_index.html

I can not seem to find any real concrete information on it besides the same pictures over and over. It reminds me of that flying Weebo robot (AI?) from Flubber (though that thing would seem to need flubber to fly..)

Does anyone have anymore information on this device? Thanks. -Colt

This must be a really unknown thing to get no replies, granted it is the weekend. -Colt

Wow, cool! I saw some NASA program some time back that included it, but this blurb is more detailed.

It's essentially the latest tech PDA, with fans to control its movement, and special software for special functions, like environmental monitoring, voice control and response, remote control from ground, etc. Pretty darn neat. How long till we can get a version of this for on Earth? (Okay, maybe not floating, but rolling around?)

Yeah, that would be very cool. It could have rubber tracks around its middle. -Colt
