Default Tonight's APOD: Cloud Reflections on the Ocean?

Hey guys. I was wondering. On tonight's APOD, if you look real close, you can see that underneath most of the clouds the sea is a slightly lighter shade of blue. The shape of the lighter-blue blotches seem to be about what I would expect from a reflection of the cloud. Of course, you can see the cloud's shadows too. I was wondering, are they indeed reflections?

I see a couple shadows of clouds, I think, but I'm not sure which part you mean by the reflections

I see the things you're talking about, but suspect they may be artifacts of the image being taken obliquely through a pane of glass making a double image.

I think the lighter shade of blue belongs to the thinner edges of te clouds, not the ocean

The separation is less towards the limb, consistent with reflections on a curved surface.
