Gdansk fireball?
Hum,
i got a strange email with this "13 june 2006 at 17:15 UTC defragmented splitt to two fireballs fragments was seen over north Poland over the city Gdansk and Gdynia . fireball came from north direction and was seen in the sky wery bright light of this two fragments for about 3 sekundes and was heard strong boom with sound afterefects ( echos )" Weblink: It is definitely a vapour trail (contrail)...But more than that i don`t know...

tnx, i overlooked the Montana referance.... Anyway, I came accross this Ett brinnande klot sågs igår kväll på himlen ovanför Småland- och Blekingetrakten. "Det såg ut som en nyårsraket som sköts ner mot jorden istället för upp", beskriver ett vittne fenomenet, som syntes tydligt i flera sekunder. Det kan röra sig om en meteorit som slagit ner någonstans i området. Source
