You guys might find this fun.
http://www.bigideafun.com/penguins/arcade/doom_funnel/ It starts getting really difficult when there are lots of planets and the flags start moving.

I'm on level 15. It has two pairs of planets, one moving up and down, the other down and up (their in antiphase) like in minigolf. My orbiter is now running back and forth between the pairs, always slipping by as the planets are at their maximum distances. But it would go into the funnel. :x

This is apparently an updated version of Spaced Penguin, which I've played before. It's pretty tricky, but you can get some interesting pathways going.

Sometimes I can launch my orbiter into orbit but I always get the orbital path precessing. Does that happen with actual orbits?

Cool game. You should try getting all the flags on level 21

I'm hung up on level 25 as I put the tape in orbit and it hasn't come down yet. (90+ min) I figure eventualy the simulation will stop, right? The distance tracker is over a million now and I'm curious where it will stop.

Anybody know more about Big Idea Productions? I know they have a religious bent, but do they, for example, take any stands against scientific ideas like other religious companies? I couldn't find anything to that effect on their mission statement or their history.

Not 15 seconds after writing the above post, the tape ball finally hit the funnel. Distance travelled, 4,723,473 in about 3 hours 50 minutes. I ended up with 118,507,607 for a final score. Only 2nd for the day though behind someone from Japan with 215 million. Less than 60 million short of making the top 15 all time scores of which the top score is 933 million. It's a fun a little game and I'm going to try it again.
It was interesting to watch during the last hour as the orbital decay got worse and worse. Kizarvexis

That's the only kind of "jab" at science I've seen. But of course, it's kind-of obvious that it's all a big spoof! (Their version of "The Parable of the Good Samaritan" on the same video has got to be the most bizarre version of the parable I have ever seen!) OK, seriously, Big Idea productions is about making quality Christian videos for children (although adults tend to have as much fun with the series as the children!). Their aim is to teach Bible stories and Christian values. (Believe it or not, the above mentioned episode is about "loving your neighbor" - Jr. Asparagus figures out the "crazy gourds" - the weirdos of the crew - have the solution to their problem - hint: they have big appetites. From this experience, a dream maybe?, he learns not to reject the new kid in town who is "weird" because he is from a different country.) They've tackled gossip, fibbing (otherwise known as lying to cover your wrong actions), selfishnes, greed, standing up for what you believe in, peer pressure, and things like that. But, no, they don't "preach" anti-science. (Unless you really believe a plant can get electricuted and come to life ! :P )
