Exclamation New 35km crater found on Titan!

New Titan Crater as of 09-10-06!
35km Crater with a central peak, dark floor, and ejecta. Probably the youngest of the 3 known Titan craters. Announcement coming from JPL later this week.

The other 2 Craters:
Menrva = 450km, multiple rings
Sinlap = 80km x 50km with flat floor

That is a nice one, with ejecta, clear central peak and located near sand dunes. Should be a nice place to visit once there is rover technology and $$ to put into it.

Bit disappointing actually; the more craters we find, the less dynamic Titan's crust is likely to be, which lessens the chance for a subsurface ocean.
