I love the name, I always considered Eris to be one of the most interesting of the Greek deities due to her creating a tiny golden apple, which eventually led to the Trojan War.

I detect a touch of wit here as well.
Dysnomia is a condition where the sufferer finds names difficult to remember.

Bit like dyslexia, dyspraxia and dysarthria, all comparable words/conditions.

Glad it was not that other name floating

womans toyboy service.

I like the name Eris.

Anybody know when we can expect names for 2005 FY9, 2003 EL61, 2002 AW197, etc? Hopefully it won't be too much longer.

We'll probably get names for them when their dwarf-planethood is announced...
