Is it true that astronomers are suppoosed to make a announcement today about something

Astronomers are always making announcements about something. What makes today so special? And what does it have to do with NASA?

Also I think there was a meeting in Nashville of the American Astronomical Society that made several announcements the past few days.

Also NASA is supposed to release new findings in the Columbia tragedy soon too. So it might be that.
