Astronomers are always making announcements about something. What makes today so special? And what does it have to do with NASA?

NASA Is planning to launch 2 rovers to Mars soon. http://mars.jpl.nasa.gov/mer/

Also I think there was a meeting in Nashville of the American Astronomical Society that made several announcements the past few days.

Also NASA is supposed to release new findings in the Columbia tragedy soon too. So it might be that.

"Well, folks, as you can clearly and plainly see, there is not Planet X looming in the sky above us. You may all go home and sleep peacefully."

A Twinkie's Credo

I don't believe in moon landings,
I wasn't born yesterday,
I wouldn't trust the White House,
No matter what they say.

The stories are paper thin and
The evidence is sorely lacking,
The only expert witnesses have
government backing.

Everyone involved has secrets,
and conveniently dies,
If I can't understand the science,
then it must be lies.

But I believe in Greys, and UFOs,
Planet X and Zetatalk and Bart,
biorhythms, and homeopathy,
and astrology, with all my heart.
