OK, it needs a name. How about "The Bird Nebula"? Or "The Turn Indicator", you should see the way people drive around here.

I've had the Carina Nebula as one of my wallpapers for ages. It was one of the first I used after jettisoning the I Love Lucy desktop utility. Right now though, it's N44C.

Try this. "The finger" as we see it is the arm of the superhero. The hump next to it is the head of the superhero, and the hump next to that is the other shoulder of the superhero. I, too, am betting they did this as a subterfuse. Must have taken them a while to come up with an alternative image, though.
