Lightbulb I have a question on the meteor shower in NY!!!

I want to know if i will be able to see the meteor showers tonight in NY...do you think i will??

Yes, the Perseids peaked last night but should still be pretty good tonight. You can usually see a fair number of meteors the couple of days leading up to and just after the peak. Go for it!

But the best time is between midnight and dawn, when you are on the "leading" side of the Earth.

Question uh...

yeah but uh..will there be a lot of meteors cuzz me and mah family want to know...!!

More than average, but less than yesterday. Be realistic in your expectations. Do read some of the articles recommended for advice -- like the Bad Astonomer's tips.
