Man, I love integral field spectrographs. There have been several astro-ph posts recently with data from SINFONI. Very cool.

Looks like at least a couple of the galaxies are just barely visible in the SDSS i-band images. Don't look like much, though. The VLT is doing some very nifty stuff.
