Astronomers using the 2.7m McDonald observatory have found the best solar twin to date. 18 Scorpii had been the best but it was a bit too yellow to be a true twin.
Ok, 18 Sco is not really yellow at all, but it does have a little too much lithium to be a super close twin.Anyone want to bet what color it is? ![]() Added: Here's the paper.
