Since the doomsayers have it down to the year, month, day, hour, and minute, the key to surviving TEOTWAWKI in 2012 is to make sure you're not in the time zone that first experiences those parameters. For instance, those poor suckers in New Zealand may get wiped out, but those of us in the US central time zone will OK, since the event will occur 19 hours before it would have gotten to us.
