Default What would the very beginning of time look like?

Let's say that in 10 year's time; a telescope will be able to look back to the very beginning of time. What will it see?

Yep, I'm of the opinion you'd see a whole lot of nothing. (Actually there would be plenty there but I don't think much would register on the visible spectrum).

On a serious note, you wouldn't see anything, since the universe was opaque until approximately 300,000 years after the beginning! 8)

That's right; its called the decoupling era, when the entire universe was hotter than 4000k, and so thick that photons could not penetrate it; we will never see anything earlier than this time,
which was approx big bang+300,000 years;

unless gravity waves were able to penetrate this maelstrom...
