I can only assume that the British government truly hates astronomy. I'm so furious there isn't much I can say at the moment.

I think fish is nice, but then I think that rain is wet, so who am I to judge? It's gotten to the point where careful investigation is needed just to tell parody from reality. I think that means reality is broken.- Noclevername.

They now have an former treasurer as Prime Minister....
There is a shortfall of 80 Million pounds in the science technologies facilities budget... I wonder how much the UK spends on pollies going on overseas fact finding missions.... perhaps they could use telescopes to find facts instead.
