Default Soho question

Quick question about a link for soho.

Anyone know of somewhere that you can find the current planets in SOHO's FOV. or the dates and times of when a planet will come into view on soho...

thanks in advance.

http://www.heavens-above.com/

Log in, it's free. Put in your location. You can have a default location but also others. The site will calculate where the planets are on the date you choose. You should be able to figure out when the planets will be near the Sun and therefore on the SOHO screen.

I am unable to find it at the moment, but I do know such a page exists on the SOHO site somewhere. I'll keep looking.

Given this thread's title, I'm just relieved that the question wasn't "What planet do the flying saucers in this here SOHO image come from?"

I mean, given the propensity for lay misinterpretation that CCD artifacts in the SOHO images have traditionally had, and all.
