Default Moon + Mars

People, right now (22:00 GMT) I´m seeing the Moon and Mars just a few degrees apart. The sky is somewhat cloudy but their light can go through the less dense regions of the clouds. A beautiful show.

Very nice. I just took some photos with the digi-cam with some nice cirrocumulus clouds in the vicinity of the moon.

I saw that too yesterday, and took some photos with my digicam. I'll post a link to them when I get internet back at home (those bastards killed my account yesterday ).

Saw it as well. Beautiful sight. And it was partly cloudy as well so I could see mars sometimes and sometimes not,

I saw it as well. It was fun, having every single one of my friends come up to me and ask : " You know about this stuff, is that Mars? ". I'd say " yes, isn't it pretty?" Five seconds later another one would come up and ask the exact same question. Fun, but tiresome after the 10th time...

Haha. Noone around here cares about anything that is in the sky. Oh well, maybe some other day.

You're a little better placed than we are: it was cloudy night before last, and last night the Moon was already well past Mars, though I did see both of them. Nice orange Moon rising, too - would have freaked the PXers (almost freaked me - I went around a curve in the road, there it was, and I almost drove into a tree!).
