Thanks, learnt something interesting today!
very interactive for kids etc (operating and designing), the elliptical shape is clever. apparently our Queen had one built for her Golden Jubilee. (and there are henges in Canada: it's funny what intrigues people) ;-)

I attended the dedication of a similar sundial six years ago. It has fallen into disrepair, unfortunately.
