Default Terminated at Mount Wilson Observatory

After five years of faithful duty as a volunteer telescope operator at Mount Wilson Observatory, the management has elected to relieve me of my duties there.
Today I turned in all of my keys to the person who originally issued them to me in 2002.

I am bitter at being canned, but it will not stop me from doing other things for the astronomy community and the public in general. To me the observatory is history and I will put it out of mind.

Sorry for your bad luck, thanks for your contributions to space exploration though! Best of luck on finding a new spot in the astronomy world.

Condolences. That must have be a fun thing to do. Is there a story behind the action you want to tell? Or, are the reasons for your bitterness better left unsaid? Keeping it out of mind is fine.

Good luck to you in your other pursuits.

Ach! I've lost a couple of good jobs I've really loved. Sorry to hear this. It must have been great for you.

Matt. Good Luck. If you're any good, you'll run into a few nitwits in your life somewhere. My friend O, a millionaire several times over, actually prefers to swap canned stories with interviewees. It shows a sense of self determination, independence, and personal character....sadly lacking in some folks. fractures spelling? Gillian'll get me.
