Default Best Websites & Books for Cosmology/Astrophysics?

Anyone have some great books & websites for information & getting your feet wet with Cosmology?

Free preferred but if you have something i can get on eBay or the library that is highly recommended, i'm all ears.

I've come across from threads of people tossing links around but recently cleaned out all of my "tinyurl" crap because they stink so if you have links, please post the full links.

Sorry if this is a dupe I would be considered new/novice so books that are better are bridging the gap to intermediate so i can understand the advance stuff are what i'm looking for.

Just browsing my bookstore they either have lots of pretty pictures or a 100.00 rare book thats over my head.

thx

I think Stephen Hawking's The Universe in a Nutshell and A Briefer History of Time are both good laymen books... also Leonard Susskind's The Comsic Landscpae gives a good overview...
