Just a note: Pedro Duque is the first Spanish astronaut, but there were other Europeans in space before him.

I see this is not Pedro Duque's first time to go into space. He was a Mission Specialist on the STS-95 mission on the Space Shuttle Discovery from 29 October to 7 November 1998.

Meanwhile, they have arrived safely at the ISS.
