Default National Air and Space Museum Annex sneak preview

The NASM Annex at Dulles Airport - officially the "Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center" - opens to the public on December 15. But I just got an invitation to a sneak preview on December 6! :P I'm really looking forward to seeing it - this has been a long time coming.

Naah.

Though I do have FOUR tickets. Perhaps I can be persuaded to bring some folks in as guests.

I'm local! Can I buff your shoes with my hair for a ticket? ... Oh wait. I'm (a) tied up on the 6th and (b) don't have much hair. Dadgumit. :-?

Lucky dog. Enjoy.

Due to inclement weather and a cold, I didn't make it. But SpaceRef.com has some coverage (with photos) here.

I was out at the Air and Space Annex earlier this summer with the wife, in-laws, and wife's grandparents. It's a really impressive space with a lot of great aerospace history. Frankly, I think it's better than the main Air and Space downtown... if you like this kind of stuff you owe it to yourself to go!
