I still think we should start a business with the sole goal of getting a real moon base. We could call it the Lunar Defense League or some such. The promoted goal would be to lobby congress for more money for NASA and expanded space goals, lobby corporations to form a space consortium, and promote astronomy and space exploration through accurate portrayals in Hollywood films. Then when we do get to the moon we can find that trailblazer litter and Lunar Embassy documents and send tham back to Mr. Hope at terminal velocity.
