Man, you folks make me envious! While I got to see "portions" of the eclipse, we had some pretty bad cloud cover most of the evening and the clouds were moving pretty fast...really messed with the autofocus on my camera. I got a couple of pics, but nothing worth sharing (certainly not as good as those posted). I'm not a baseball fan, so I sat outside most of the evening and watched for the most part...clicked a couple pics here and there when there was any kind of signifigant break in the clouds, but apparently just wasn't my nite.

Anyways, some really fab pics there folks...very nice indeed!

Bright Blessings & Gentle Breezes,
Jim

Hi all, nice shots.

Thought I'd try my hand at some afocal insanity using a 10" dob and an Olympus digital cam. Clouds were determined to ruin the event but I managed to get a few decent images. These are my favorites from the attempt.

A composite of digital camera pics. I got started a little late, had trouble getting focus as the moon got dimmer, and experienced sporadic cloud cover. I was using a Panasonic Lumix FZ-10 on 12x optical zoom with image stabilization and a tripod. Everybodies pics are better quality than mine, so I decided to get fancy with the layout!

Definitely not so good as the others around here but I got this one on film between clouds using prime focus on my Meade ETX-70 (350mm, f/5.6, ISO400, 2 seconds)
