Take a look at the attached image.......

Although I have much better CCD cameras, the Meade Electronic Eyepiece can give good images.

This is what can be done with a B&W Meade electronic eyepiece................

all the electronic eyepieces can be useful and give decent images,

when you know how to use them and process your images.........And one helpful hint is to use an IR blocking filter for improved sharpness, and color imaging,
again it takes time and practice to get good at it.

It is some work, but can be done if you take the time to learn.

Most get lost after they take the image, not knowing how to process them,
so they give up............................ frustrated.....so take the time to learn,
it takes trial and error and many hours learning your software.

I understand how you obtain the Red, Green, and Blue shots. How do you obtain the Luminance one?

Simply shoot with no filter! Luminence is an unfiltered or clear filter shot.

It is used to show the maximum detail in your image, the color images are for color information only, in fact they don't have to be as good as the luminence, but it all helps.

The Luminence or clear image needs to be the best, as sharpest possible, as this determines the majority of the final image detail & quality.
