Giant Sunspot Alert!!!! & Photo!
Just took this 40 minutes ago! Also there is a possiblilty for M -class flares, if we get any Earth directed flares or cme then maybe a chance for some northern lights too. Sunspot # 720 1/14/05 21:00 U.T. Canon 10D DSLR 1/2000 sec exposure, ISO 400, 6" F8 Cave Newt. Reflector, with an Orion Solar filter. If you have a solar filter, go check it out! Its a Whopper!!! For you new guys, never look at the sun without safe solar filters. Enjoy!
