This is another shot, but more widefield, it's not bad considering it was taken with the standard 18-55mm Canon ef-s lens that comes with the camera when you buy it. It just shows the naked eye view looking out over the sea, but the 'live' view was better! Very Happy Sagittarius was just rising so there was plenty to see with the binoculars, loads of messier clusters and nebulae, lovely sight. We'll have this for the next few months

I think it is really cool for you to share your hard work with us. I don't have a telescope yet, and wish I could see those images on a dailey basis. Please keep them coming. My screen saver and wallpaper slots need more material. :P
