I think you have done really well, slotdrag. Those images of the Moon are really good!

In the images of Saturn why is it so different if - according to the time printed on them - they were taken only one minute apart? As you see I don't understand anything about taking astrophotos! :unsure: Nevertheless, I do like to see people's work - even if they make me green with envy!!!

Ok i used my new celestron 8" c8n stuck in the meade electtronic eyepiece. i did also use a two x barlow. i video taped it to my 13" color tv. Then i took the tape and played it on the bigger tv in the family room, I took my sony digital camera and took pictures of the tv screen. The reason for the two different colors is i played with the special effects setting on the camera.

Interesting pics, thanks. Also an interesting method of achieving them. I noticed the scan lines in the moon pictures and was wondering about them.
