Incredible. That picture made me smile. How wonderful to see it in all of it's distantness and smallness.

Thanks for all the comments and interest.

I have the complete story on how I imaged this thing along with all the problems I had to overcome on my pluto web page:

My Pluto Webpage

I will keep reimaging this little planet and try to make it even better next time.

There is nothing easy about doing a long exposure at f/10. You just keep trying and see what actually works.

Best wishes to all of you.

Congratulations on such awesome work!!!,Charles!!I can remember how I felt when I observed Pluto for the first time thru a friend's 16" clock driven reflector. We did observe it over the course of 3 days to confirm its position!I could not see any difference in its position, however! I can only imagine how you felt, though, when your images came thru!!Congratulations...and we'll be waiting for more!!!! Bob D.,Johnston,RI
